Yuvraj scored 52 runs in 29 balls, RCB won by 8 wickets in RCB VS DD T20 of IPL 7
Today, on 17th April 2014, RCB VS DD T20 of IPL 7 was scheduled. It was the 2nd T20 match of IPL 7. Everyone's eyes were on yuvraj singh. After looking yuvraj's batting in T20 World Cup 2014 final, Everybody were talking about Yuvraj Singh's retirement. Few people were thinking that vijay malya has done a very big mistake by buying Yuvraj in 14 crore Rupees. But Yuvraj Singh proved all them wrong. In this T20 RCB VS DD, Yuvraj Scored 52 runs in 29 balls and because of that Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 8 wickets against Delhi Daredevils.
After winning the toss Virat Kohli decided that RCB will do bowl first. It was a shocking decision but Virat proved that he was right. Delhi Daredevils lost wickets early. After 4.1 overs DD was on 17/3. At this stage match was completely on RCB's hand. But after fall of 4 wickets, JP Duminy and Ross Taylor made a big partnership for DD. In last 3 overs JP Duminy played very well. JP Duminy scored 67 runs in 48 balls and Taylor scored 43 runs in 39 balls. Because of this partnership, DD scored 145/4 after 20 overs.
RCB needed 146 runs to win the match. It looks very easy to chase this much score with powerful batting lineup. Bangalore lost 1st wicket on score of 6 runs. It was the last moment for DD when they thought that they can win the match. After that Parthiv Patel played beautiful inning of 37 runs in 28 balls. After 2nd wicket down Yuvraj Singh came on the crease. Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli were on the crease. Both played a very good innings. Kohli scored 49 runs in 38 balls while Yuvraj Singh scored 52 runs in 29 balls. In his inning, yuvraj scored 3 boundaries and 5 sixes. Finally Yuvraj got his form in IPL 7. It is a very good sign for RCB that yuvraj came back into form.
