Great win of KXIP over Rajasthan Royals. On 20th April 2014, KXIP VS RR T20 match of IPL 7 was scheduled. Everyone knows that KXIP is champion in run chasing. After winning the toss, KXIP elected to bowl first. Rajasthan Royals got an average start. They lost their opening batsmen in 1st 50 runs. There was too much pressure on Sanju Samson and Shane Watson. Both played wonderful inning. Sanju Samson scored 52 runs in 34 balls and Shane Watson scored 50 runs in 29 balls. In slog overs Steven Smith played some big shots and finally in 20 overs Rajasthan Royals Scored 192 runs.
Now KXIP needed 193 runs to win the match. If we look back in 1st T20 of KXIP VS CSK then everybody will say if RR wants to win they must have to take maxwell's wicket very early. But Rajasthan Royals failed to do that thing. KXIP lost 1st 2 wickets very early. After that Pujara and Glenn Maxwell were at the crease. Glenn Maxwell started playing his big shots from beginning. Shane watson worried about it but couldn't do much more. Maxwell hit 8 fours and 6 sixes in this inning. Everyone on the stadium was enjoying Maxwell's batting. Suddenly KXIP lost Maxwell's wicket. Glenn maxwell made 89 runs in 45 balls.
Game was not over yet. KXIP needed too much runs with big run rate. It was not very easy because Pujara was at other hand and plying very slow inning. All pressure was on next batsmen David Miller. He played beyond everyone's expectation. Miller made 51 runs in 19 balls. In this inning Miller scored 6 sixes. He hit 4 sixes in Kulkarni's over. So in this way Maxwell and Miller lead KXIP to win by 7 wickets VS RR. Glenn Maxwell got man of the match award.
