India VS Pakistan 1st T20 of the T20 World Cup 2014 was scheduled on 22nd March 2014. People were waiting for this match since very long time. But there was nothing to see in this match. After winning the toss, India elected to bowl first. From beginning of the inning Pakistan was taking chances to make fast runs. Because of that Pakistan lost their 1st wicket as Kamran Akmal who was run out by Bhuvneshvar Kumar. After that little partnership came but suddenly Pakistan lost more 2 wickets. After 7.3 overs Pakistan was at 44/3. At that time Pakistan was under pressure. But Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal made 59 runs partnership. Pakistan failed to accelerate inning in last 5 overs. At the end of 20 overs Pakistan scored 130/7. Indian bowlers bowled very well in this India VS Pakistan T20. Amit Mishra took 2 wickets in this match.
India needed 131 runs to win the match. It is very easy to chase this much runs for India. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave a good start to India. India got 54 runs partnership from opening batsmen. After that India lost 3 wickets very early. At that moment everybody was thinking Pakistan can change the game. But Virat Kohli and Raina managed the inning and played well. India achieved the target in 18.3 overs. India scored 131/3 at the end of the match.
