In a meeting in Chennai, Governing Council of IPL decided that first phase of Pepsi IPL 2014 will be played in United Arab Emirates and declared the IPL 2014 Schedule. Because of election in India first phase of the IPL 2014 is shifted in UAE. IPL 2014 will start from 16th April 2014. Total 20 matches up to the 30th April 2014 IPL will be played in UAE.
As per the IPL 2014 Schedule, Total 20 matches will be played in UAE in three stadiums. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, The Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and the Sharjah Cricket Association stadium in Sharjah are selected for IPL T20 2014. Remaining schedule of IPL 2014 will be declared later.
