IPL Auction 2014 on 12th and 13th February 2014.

IPL T20 2014 will be started on 8th April 2014. On 30th May 2014 final of IPL 2014 will be played. Here I have mentioned only starting and ending date of IPL 2014 but Schedule of IPL 2014 is not yet fixed. Here in this post I will tell you about Auction of players in IPL T20 2014. Each Team has Rs. 60 crore Balance in IPL Auction. Any franchise can not spend more then 60 crore rupees to make his/her Team. There are two Parts in IPL T20 2014 Auction. Each Part is described below.

1. Retained Players in IPL 2014 Auction

    In this part Each Franchise has to choose maximum 5 players to retain in the team. Any franchise can not retain more than 5 players in his/her team. Franchise can choose minimum 0 players to retain in the team. But if any franchise wants to retain any player in the team then he/she has to pay some prize for it. In IPL Auction 2014, different prices are decided for retaining players in the team.

Prices for Capped Players.
  • Rs. 12.5 Crore for 1st Player.
  • Rs. 9.5 Crore for 2nd Player.
  • Rs. 7.5 Crore for 3rd Player.
  • Rs. 5.5 Crore for 4th Player.
  • Rs. 4 Crore for 5th Player.
Price for Uncapped Players.
  • Rs. 4 Crore for each uncapped players.

2. IPL Auction on 12th and 13th February 2014

In 2nd part franchise can buy players. If any franchise wants to retain any existing player  then he/she can use Right To Match Card (RMT Card). You might be thinking that how many times RTM Card can be used? It depends on the number of players retained in Team. Below is the table of how much time franchise can use RTM Card.
